Wildcat Sanctuary Helps Severely Injured ‘Whistling Cat’

SANDSTONE, Minn. – On Wednesday the Wildcat Sanctuary, sometimes recognized for rescuing lions and tigers, stated it was stepping in to assist Rocket, a 4-pound tabby cat affected by respiratory points.

The nonprofit says the “whistling cat” was injured by a canine when she was three months outdated inflicting injury to her eye and cranium.

Founder Tammy Thies stated, “The injury is making it very tough for her to breathe and eat. She breathes by way of her mouth, so respiratory whereas consuming or consuming may be very tough for her. She is a really candy cat who purrs on a regular basis. Sadly, respiratory whereas purring is much more tough.”

Employees says Rocket is being examined by the Sanctuary veterinarian. She is going to obtain radiographs and can probably want a CT scan and surgical procedure to make her extra comfy.
