In the eight games before his injury, Kamara was having a typical Kamara season: He accumulated 840 game yards (530 dashes, 310 ball receptions) for a total of seven touchdowns for the Saints. in 2021.

Kamara missed his fourth game of the season while dealing with an MCL sprain.
The Saints have decided not to place Kamara in the IR after he suffered an injury in early November, hoping that he will be able to play without being forced to miss a minimum of three games. Instead, Kamara has now missed his fourth straight game, as the Saints attack happened without him. He last played in the Saints’ Week 9 game against the Falcons.
Kamara appears to have suffered a setback in practice before Week 11, and was restricted from practice on Wednesday, December 1 before being eliminated on Thursday.
In his absence (and with Trevor Siemian in midfield), the Saints lost 0-3 and they faced NFC Championship hopefuls Dallas Cowboys on “Thursday Night Football” this week. 13.
Throughout his career, Kamara has largely played persistently, missing just four games since 2017 before the 2021 season began. Kamara is about to have an epic 2020 season in which he scored a total of 21 touchdowns for New Orleans.
Instead, the Saints will turn to Mark Ingram, Tony Jones and Ty Montgomery for backyard shots.
