Whoopi Goldberg Criticizes Meghan Markle For Saying She Feels Like a ‘Bimbo’ During ‘Deal or No Deal’ Performance
Rub! Looks like Whoopi Goldberg isn’t here because of Meghan Markle’s recent comments about her time on ‘Deal or No Deal’.
On the fourth episode of ‘The View’, Goldberg apparently took issue with Markle revealing that she felt “opposed” during her brief stint on the game show. More specifically, Meghan sat down with Paris Hilton on the ‘Archetypes’ podcast and said that she ended up leaving the show because her role made her feel like a “junk snack”.
Markle’s recollection of her experience doesn’t seem to match that of Oscar-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg, who calls the show a gig.
In that show, you basically have a suitcase and they want to know: ‘Is this the deal you want or is this the deal you want?’ I didn’t know that the people sitting there were thinking about you that way. They’re thinking, ‘I want money. ‘”
Markle was an aspiring actress at the time she agreed to be on the game show, which prompted Goldberg to discuss the expectations of performers and actresses in Hollywood.

Goldberg went on to say, “We are not journalists, we are actors. You have left, and that is your prerogative. But I feel bad because I don’t think people see these girls like this, I think people want money. It’s TV, honey. But, what do you think you will do? You know that’s what the show is. “
Despite her criticism of the show, Markle noted that she’s thankful for the experience and is looking for a job that better matches what she’s gotten from college. her studies and internship at the US Embassy in Argentina.
I’m grateful for the work, but not for how it makes me feel, which is unwise. And by the way, I was surrounded by smart women on that stage with me, but that was not the focus of why we were there. I will eventually go home with this hole in my stomach knowing that I am much more than what is being protested on stage. “
Since the moment she was on ‘Deal or No Deal’, Meghan Markle has landed her breakout role as Rachel Zane in ‘Suits’. She then announced her engagement to Prince Harry in 2017 and was officially named Duchess of Sussex after the two married in May 2018.
