My new podcast is out (see below) and it covers two fascinating topics.
In one segment, I tell you where you can find the most ingenious weather forecasts. You have a lot of choicesfrom hundreds of smartphone weather apps, forecasts built into your phone, and a large number of websites, newspapers, radio and TV.
One site is dedicated to answering this question, castingadvisor.com, and I show you some results (see sample below). I also explain some of the major technological changes that have made better weather forecasting possible.

I also discuss the weekend forecast. The great high pressure trough in the eastern Pacific has resumed (see below) the entire region will enjoy sunny skies, no rain, and seasonal temperatures. Conditions are perfect for outdoor activities, bolstered by a rapidly lengthening day and perceivably stronger sunshine.
