What’s faster? Watch us race from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem by speedboat and Uber

Our latest YouTube video features something a little different! We ran to Edinburgh, Scotland; Amsterdam; Paris; Leeds, England; and even Heathrow Airport. However, we have never ventured outside of Europe.

This time, we go to the Middle East to find the fastest way to go between the two Israel The largest cities, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, race from the beach to the Jewish holiest site, the Western Wall.

I took all forms of public transport, starting with an electric scooter, taking the new high-speed rail, followed by the Jerusalem light rail, and finally sprinting through the Old City to the Great Wall. West wall.

Liam had a more comfortable and refined journey, booking an Uber from one point to another during the 70-kilometer (43 1/2 mile) journey.

You can watch the full experience and find out the winners right here on YouTube:

Nicky Kelvin — public transport

We paid: 12 pounds (about 14 dollars)

It was a hot day in Israel and the heat of over 86 degrees (Fahrenheit) was not conducive to running on the streets. However, I did my best. The scooter was easy to find and a fun way to see some Tel Aviv on the way to HaHagana train station. The bullet train was fast and cool, and the light train was waiting for me at the other end.

The final sprint through the Old City was also a hot one, but the surroundings were amazing. If I wasn’t racing and could slow down, it would have been a fascinating journey past some of the iconic sights of the world’s three great religions.

Liam Spencer — Uber

We paid: £100 (about $119)

This is a cool, comfortable and stylish option. Liam simply opens the Uber app, hops on and sits still as his driver makes his way up the scenic winding roads to the hills of Jerusalem.

The big downfall here is the price, which is almost 10 times that of public transport. Liam also takes a big risk, as the route between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem can often be hampered by terrible traffic.
