Bonfire Night is here again, the day that we in Great Britain celebrate the day in 1605 when… they tried to blow up the king? We’re celebrating the fact that they tried, right? This time last year, I asked you about your favorite thing video game explosion. Well, this year the fireworks are a bit off, with fewer large public fireworks to ooh and aah at, so let’s talk about the unpaid fires. What is your favorite fire in the game, gang?
My mind immediately turned to Dark Souls, obvs. A bonfire in Dark Souls: 1) looks cool, with the sword and that thing; 2) make my heart sing because I have found SAFETY; 3) made me a little nervous, knowing I was giving up on the lighting I knew and placing the pitch in an unknown area. But really the fire that I think I like the most is this beautiful flame in RΑΩLE word Dong Van EP:

My other initial reaction was: the fire broke out uncontrollably threatening to burn everything down, burning all over my body. Other fires exist. Video games are full of fires, environments, circumstances, weaponization and more. Some are lifebuoys, others are lifebuoys, and many of them are beautiful. They are definitely a great opportunity to showcase your favorite arts and technologies. There is so much to like about fire.
