Race cars are not meant to be beautiful, they are meant to be fast. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t pretty. just look at something like Ferrari’s F2004 or Lotus 79 – both belong to a museum. But not every car is endowed with the beauty of these racers. Some are downright ugly.
So if you were to flip through the history books, what would you say is the ugliest looking race car of all time? According to my math, you’ve got over 125 years of racing history to pass – takes us back to the first motor race that ran from Paris to Rouen in France in 1894. That was a lot of ugly looking cars.
maybe you have never been a fan of Ford’s RS2000 racing car, having won 19 wins and 32 podiums in it was a racing year. Or perhaps you’ve always hated the paint job of the Burger King run by NASCAR’s Travis Kvapil in 2013.
Personally, I’ve had a few riders immediately think of this question. The first is the Ferrari F310, the car is different in terms of Michael Schumacher’s first Ferrari F1 carand also the ugliest car he drove in his entire career.
Next, there were abominations that happened in Formula 1 in 2014 with the advent of the turbo-hybrid era. Specifically, cars from Toro Rosso, Force India and McLaren tie a wonderful trunk to the front of their car. atrocious.
