Vegetables that dogs can eat:
Remove all stems and leaves, cut into bite-sized pieces. Feed only a few pieces or a small portion.

Fruits that dogs can eat:
Remove all skins, cores, pits, seeds, pulp and stems and chop into bite-sized pieces. Be careful as fruit has water and sugar and too much can cause diarrhea.

Dog meat can be eaten:
Have most of these foods cooked and cut into small, edible pieces. Only feed your dog raw meat if your veterinarian allows it, as the dog has a medical condition or is taking certain medications that could be problematic. - Coconut (no outer layer, not edible)

Peanut butter: Avoid brands that contain Xylitol. It is high in fat and should be fed sparingly and never to dogs with chronic pancreatitis. Avoid peanuts as they are high in fat and can be toxic if they contain mold causing aflatotoxicosis.

Dangerous food for dogs to eat
This next list is important to keep in mind. It’s very easy to accidentally drop a piece of food and let your dog scoop it up. But this list might make you think twice next time.
Vegetables that dogs cannot eat:
Asparagus: When alive, it is too chewy for dogs to eat and can become a choking hazard or cause an intestinal obstruction
Mushroom: While many mushrooms are good for dogs to eat, some mushrooms that grow outside are toxic. To be on the safe side, don’t let your dog eat wild mushrooms growing outside.
OnionLeeks and Chives: They come from the Allium family of plants, all of which are not good for dogs
Fruit Dogs can’t eat:
Avocado: The parts of an avocado – the peel, skin and leaves – contain a toxin that causes vomiting in dogs, so you should avoid giving these parts to your dog. Safe cuts of meat are high in fat, so not great for dogs who are overweight.
Cherries, plums, mangoes and peaches, plus apple seeds: Pits and seeds contain cyanide, which in large quantities will poison your dog.
Grapes and raisins: These can cause kidney failure, so it’s best never to feed your dog.
Tomato: A bright red tomato, washed and ripe on its own, cut into pieces is generally safe, but the green plants – stems and leaves – are toxic.
Other human foods that dogs cannot eat:
Almonds: They are not toxic, but they can become a choking hazard or cause an intestinal obstruction
Chocolate: not good for dogs and dried cocoa powder, unbleached chocolate and dark chocolate can be toxic to dogs
Cinnamon: Only in small quantities. Use Ceylon cinnamon, not Cassia because Cassia cinnamon contains coumarin, which can be harmful to the liver if eaten in large quantities. Also, if your dog is on medication, ask your vet because cinnamon has a mild anticoagulant effect.
Garlic: Best to stay away unless you are working with your holistic veterinarian. Can cause problems with anemic dogs, dogs with immune system problems or puppies that are still developing immune systems.
Cream: Safest to avoid it. Sugar is unhealthy when given to dogs and some dogs are lactose intolerant, plus some ice creams contain xylitol. There is a dog-friendly version available.
Macadamia nuts: This is one of the poisonous foods for dogs. May cause Macadamia nut poisoning, causing weakness, vomiting, hyperthermia, etc.
Nutmeg: Contains myristicin, which is toxic to dogs
Walnuts: Best to avoid. Walnuts are not toxic, but they can become a choking hazard or cause an intestinal blockage. However, if they become moldy, they can be toxic.
Xylitol: Watch out for this sugar substitute in things like peanut butter, ice cream or yogurt – it’s toxic to dogs
