We’re still getting top-of-the-line releases on the Switch, but as the console enters the later stages of its lifecycle, we’re truly in remakes and remakes territory. The Wii U crate was quickly depleted (though some remain that we’d like to see make the leap to hybrid) and recent years have seen Nintendo turn to the DS and 3DS catalog for inspiration — and my god has it been proving useful so far!

Last year brought us things like Ghost tricks: Ghost detective, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes And Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection and 2024 has ended Other codes: Memories, Apollo Justice: A trio of excellent lawyers And Pocket card player: Keep going!with Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Legend of Legacy HD: Remastered and more (maybe) not come yet.

With DS and 3DS libraries being It’s very hot right now, here at Nintendo Life, we decided to weigh in on some of the titles we’d like to see make the transition from two screens to one. Below, some of us have shared our do-over dreams. Read through our highest hopes and then drop a comment to share yours.

Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

I’m fighting the urge to be my old predictable self, I really am. But what kind of gentleman would I be if I did not mention Professor Layton? Drop the OG trilogy as a collection and then release the prequels next year á la Talented lawyer to build interest for The new world of steam. That is obvious.

Besides Layton, there are a few Nintendo ports that I’d love to see on the Switch. Fire Emblem: Awakening is one of the best out there and Metroid: Samus returns it feels like an easy way to get us through Prime Minister 4 with a bit of 2D action. However, the correct answer to this question is The Connection Between Worlds. How it’s not on Switch yet, I just don’t know.

At this point, you know I’m going to list a bunch of RPGs that are stuck on the DS and/or 3DS. The first two brave The game feels like a given, surely? You’ve got all that Dragon quest redo. And, my personal favorite DS RPG (I haven’t played the 3DS version), Radiant history, is something I especially want to see on the Switch – it’s absolutely amazing, and it has the best time travel since Chrono Trigger. I promise I’m not exaggerating.

But besides RPGs, we always talk about handheld Sonic games, so why not order Sonic Rush on Switch? Its as if an underrated Sonic game, mainly because it’s stuck on the DS. The feeling of speed is thrilling and Blaze is such a great character. I will happily do this in the near future Sonic X Dark Generation.

We have Pocket card playerso I think we’re done here.

Oh okay. I agree 100% with Jim that A Link Between Worlds and Fire Emblem: Awakening will only benefit from greater reach. Heavenly rhythm is an outstanding franchise that we’ve never seen on Switch, the absence could only be a clerical error as we’ve experienced it before two WarioWares. I like that series too, but let’s spread Get some love and make some hay before the Switch winter, Nintendo!

DS-wise, I am one Spiritual song the person apologized and I remember coming up Twilight Hotelso I wouldn’t mind another crack there.
