For example, you could book round-trip travel from Chicago’s Midway International Airport (MDW) to San Diego International Airport (SAN) in August to receive 26,160 Rapid Rewards points plus $11.20 in taxes and the above fees. For this particular booking, you can save 8,720 points through this sale.
Discounted tickets apply to Wanna Get Way and Wanna Get Away Plus tickets, allowing travelers to bring two free checked bags and two carry-on items. These fare types can be canceled for free up to 10 minutes before departure. Canceled Wanna Get Away fares will receive a flight credit instead of a refund; they also include free in-flight entertainment and messaging services.
