Wednesday Bowl Match Highlights: Arkansas Overtakes Kansas at Wild Liberty Bowl End
The 2022 college football season is starting to heat up with four exciting games taking place on Wednesday, including Holiday bowl on FOX.
Duke start the day by beating decisively UCF30-13, in Eight troops. Arkansas then beat Kansas in three extra periods, 55-53, in bowl of freedom.
After, Oregon gather to stun North Carolina inside holiday bowl, 28-27. Finally, Texas Technology handling Miss Ole, 42-25inside Texas bowl.
Here are the top plays from Wednesday’s chart.
Texas Bowl: Texas Tech 42, Ole Miss 25
Go ahead and score, finish fourth
The Raiders soon took a 7-0 lead, crossing the line in fourth place in the first half.
Rules of defense
The early part of this game is a defensive struggle, with Tech and Ole Miss both making big stops.

However, the Raiders extended their lead to 17-7 in the second quarter, when Tyler’s cape pushed it to the bottom in fourth place – again. A goal then made it 20-7.
That must hurt
The Raiders took a 26-7 lead after halftime, thanks in part to their consistently tough defense and physical attacks.
Still alive
Ole Miss closed the gap to 26-13 in the third inning with this beautiful TD pass from Jason darts arrive Jordan Watkins.

Ole Miss tried to get back into the game, but when Tech made the attempt to kick Rebs’ right in the yard, it froze.
Bowl of Freedom: Arkansas 55, Kansas 53

Arkansas took a penalty to give it a quick 3-0 lead, but Kansas responded with a touchdown due to a confusing bit of misdirection.

But Arkansas bounced back in no time, taking a 17-7 lead, with a doubles score KJ Jefferson touchdown pass, first to Matt landed and then let Ty Washington.

Arkansas ‘Jefferson decided to shorten the score when no one saw an opening in the end area. The encounter gave Arkansas a 24-7 lead at the end of the first quarter and set the record for most points in a single quarter in Liberty Bowl history.

Arkansas continues to dominate on both sides when Dwight McGlothern ended with an interception in the early part of the second quarter.

Green AJ (not that one) ended the game and left the Jayhawks in the dust for a 31-7 win.

Jefferson looked like leader Cam Newton late in the first half as he somehow ran out of the bag and broke multiple tackles to reach 32 yards.
Jayhawks start to take a break
Jefferson may have featured in the previous game, but Kansas made sure to prevent Arkansas from extending a 31-13 lead at halftime. OJ Burroughs made the best impression with his Malcolm Butler to cross the line and intercept the Jayhawks to keep the Razorbacks off the board.
Continue where they left off
Arkansas found the final zone in the first possession of the second half. A 10x drive ended with a rerun Rashod Dubinion scored at 2 yards, giving the Razorbacks a 38-13 lead.

Kansas showed some life in the middle of the third quarter.
Daniels connects to wide receiver Luke Grimm and tight ending Mason Fairchild on a pair of complete combinations in 65 yards. Two turns later, run again Period Thomas punch the score 2 yards.
After being forced to a treble, Kansas then took to the field and scored the winning goal. It lasts 38-23.
Untimely revenue
Trying to run out of time, Arkansas wide receiver Matt landed groping, and Kansas Cornerback Jacobee Bryant return the ball to Arkansas’ 48-yard line.
Seven plays later, Daniels hits a wide receiver Douglas Emilien for a 10-yard touchdown and Kansas overcame Arkansas by eight.
Kansas RECOVERY the inside kick
Needing another possession, Kansas recovered a free kick.
TIE GAME!
Four innings after recovering the kick in the yard, Daniels hit Grimm with a touchdown at 21 yards. Then the Kansas quarterback connected to the wide receiver Lawrence Arnold on two point conversion. Kansas scored 25 no-answers to end the game at 38 and eventually send the game into extra time.
TD after hours
Kansas got the ball first in extra time and found the end of the field. Possession limited by Daniels . close-range header Jared Casey to score a goal. Arkansas then equalized after Dubinion made a six-yard touchdown.

In the second play of the second extra time, Jefferson scored at 20 yards for Arkansas. Then Jefferson hit the wide receiver Jaedon Wilson for two point conversion.
Kansas responded, as Daniels then ran for 2 yards. Then chaos ensued.
Daniels stopped running to convert two points, but Arkansas was called in to take aim. The Jayhawks took advantage of a second chance, when Daniels hit Casey for a two.

Jefferson hit Dubinion for two points in third extra time, and Kansas made an unsuccessful dribble, giving the Razorbacks the win.
Mo(o)re touchdowns this season
Jaquez Moore opened the scoring by plunging in for a 14-yard touchdown to give Duke a 7-0 lead in the first half.
Live shooting, live score
UCF RB Isaiah Bowser received a direct snap from the shotgun and went straight into the back yard to score a 1-yard point that ended the game.
Duke does what it does best
Brandon Johnson punch the ball out of UCF QB John Rhys PlumleeHis hand to force a groping was restored by Darius Join. This is the 16th time Duke has found clumsy status again this season, the most nationally.
Make the play Moore
After Duke was forced to change the turn, Moore made a touchdown at 32 yards, putting the Blues ahead at the 1-yard line. Riley Leonard hold the ball for a QB sneak shot to make a touchdown the next inning to put Duke 17-7 ahead.
Get one back
Needing at least a pair of points to get back into the game, UCF hit an 11-time, 91-yard hit in five minutes to open the fourth half. Bowser scored his second touchdown of the day, scoring another in a direct hit before plunging two yards into the bottom area.
However, UCF failed to convert to 2 points, making it a two-point game with nine minutes remaining when the score was 23-13.

Duke put his final stamp on victory at the Military Bowl when Leonard kept the ball at the run-in option for his second touchdown of the game.
