The best Weatherman umbrella deals
After nearly two years of testing Weatherman umbrellas, we can say with confidence that the brand offers the best quality for the money. You will also receive a Lifetime warranty With your purchase from the company’s website, that means it will fix any damage or replace the umbrella for you.
The travel umbrella is ours favorite umbrella. It can automatically open and close (making it easy to organize multiple items while in use), it’s sturdy and durable, and dries quickly. With a 38-inch canopy, this is a one-person umbrella that’s compact and lightweight. You can store a bluetooth tracker in the included zippered bag, very useful for those who often lose their umbrellas.
If the aforementioned umbrella is too small, use The Stick. In addition to the larger, 44-inch canopy, it also has a large arched canopy to better shield you from the rain. It resists strong winds by letting them flow through its vent arch. Like the Travel Umbrella, The Stick has an automatic one-button opening feature, but you’ll have to close it manually.
This is a great option if you’re looking for an umbrella that’s a bit smaller than The Stick but just as capable. With a 40-inch canopy, it’s more travel-friendly but has the same high wind resistance and you can squeeze others underneath with you. It features automatic opening and manual closing.

Julian Chokkattu, WIRED reviews editor says this is his favorite umbrella, especially because it’s light (1 pound), roomy, and beautiful. The 46-inch canopy comfortably covers two people and the portuguese cork handle is comfortable to hold and opens and closes with a smooth hand. It comes in a variety of fun colors including pink, yellow, teal, and red.
This isn’t the biggest discount, but if you want a transparent umbrella that also looks cute, here’s our top pick. Made of polyethylene, eight fiberglass ribs and steel shaft, it has good resistance to strong winds and heavy rainfall. The canopy’s 38-inch diameter is large enough to protect both you and your backpack. And, since it’s transparent, it won’t obstruct your view when you’re under it.
This has been our favorite affordable raincoat, and now it’s on sale again. We highly recommend it when traveling or hiking during the normal day. It includes a high-quality laminate waterproofing, recycled nylon, vented zippers, weather-resistant central zipper, and an adjustable, packable hood. It is also taped to help retain water. This jacket dropped to $45 in January, but it’s still a bargain.
