SEATTLE, WA (September 27, 2022) – Today, Sustainable Tourism International released Sustainable tourism: Where next?, an all-new documentary series highlighting how the global travel and tourism sector is taking action to protect our planet and its precious destinations. The series comes out as the international community celebrates World Tourism Day and acknowledges the important role tourism plays in sustainable development.
Using advanced cinematography, Sustainable tourism: Where next? takes viewers on a different kind of journey, exploring the sustainability initiatives that are transforming the travel industry around the world. The series is a collection of 16 short-form documentaries produced by Zinc Communicate, a company of the Zinc Media Group, each illuminating a different travel destination or institution. From the beaches of Barbados to Norway’s urban centers, the series delivers vivid stories of conservation, regeneration, inclusion, empowerment and resilience.
