Koei Tecmo America is out Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate Definitive Edition for Windows PC through the Steam store. There is also a trailer for the game on the company’s official YouTube channel. Game cost $39.99.
The trailer mainly focuses on gameplay, but also introduces several different game modes, such as Duel Mode. Duel Mode is a 1v1 combat mode that incorporates elements from card games, as opposed to the hack-and-slash style of the regular campaign. In addition to these game modes, Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate Definitive Edition will include DLC content from the original game.

Warriors Orochi 3 combine characters from Dynasty War and Samurai Warriors, as well as the unique ones of the game. Cross characters include Sophitia from Soul Calibur and Kasumi from Dead or alive. While it’s a hack-and-slash game that pits you against a slew of enemies to overcome, there’s an element of strategy as well as the way you approach the map. Not more like “historically correct” Dynasty War and Samurai Warriors, Warriors Orochi 3 has a more fantastical story.
Warriors Orochi 3 available on PlayStation3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita, PS4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch and PSP versions are exclusive to Japan. The Windows PC Definitive Edition is available on the Steam store.
