Wallet, Prizes of the 2023 Memorial Tournament: payouts, winners’ share for golfers from $20 million fund

The 2023 Memorial Tournament marks the penultimate designated event on the 2023 PGA Tour schedule. Now that it’s the calendar summer months, the Memorial could serve as a launchpad for many of the world’s best as the second half of the major championship season is about to begin.

The Masters offers a prize fund of $18 million and the PGA Championship roughly matches the money for the first major championship of the year with $17.5 million up for grabs at Oak Hill Country Club . As has become the norm with designated events in 2023 — in addition to the $25 million at the Players Championship — the Memorial will provide a total of $20 million to golfers passed the qualifying round.

Those who finish in the top 36 will hit six figures with those in the top 11 raking in more than $500,000.
