In Virtua fighter plane eSports Challenge Cup stream On March 20, 2022, Sega announced the combination of Virtua Fighter 5 and Tekken 7. In the short trailer played during the event, it shows Akira fighting as Kazuya and Lau fighting as Heihachi. Cooperation will not bring real results Tekken characters appear in the game. Instead, they will be skins for existing fighters.

Akira has Kazuya’s skin that has the character’s signature heterochromia, with his left eye glowing red. Don’t know if Akira and Lau are the only character skins that will be available through Tekken 7 intersect in Virtua Fighter 5.
