Video shows federal prisoner Robert Johnson Jr. escaping custody at Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee


MILWAUKEE (KTRK) — Federal prisoner Robert Johnson, Jr. pushed his well beyond an unarmed guard Tuesday evening at Milwaukee’s Mitchell Worldwide Airport.

Investigators stated Johnson obtained off a airplane and requested to make use of the toilet. As soon as his handcuffs have been undone, he punched his escort and ran.

Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas stated his deputies did not know the prisoner was coming to the airport.
