Used Tesla car prices, VW EV sales up, Leaf and Ariya: Car News Today
Used Tesla car prices have skyrocketed over the past year. VW is still trailing Tesla in terms of electric vehicle deliveries. And the Nissan Leaf and Ariya will coexist in the lineup – but for how long if the EV tax credit is not increased again? This and more, here at Green Car Report.
Volkswagen, perhaps the longest-running ambitious among the world’s major automakers, effectively double the number of EVs on offer globally by 2021. But with more than 450,000 vehicles across all global brands including Porsche, Audi, and more, that’s still less than half of Tesla’s EV deliveries.
According to a recent analysis, Prices of used Tesla models soar in 2021, which closely follows a number of price hikes applied to new Teslas during the year.
Nissan made it clear that Nissan Leaf will continue after the arrival of the Ariya crossover late fall of 2023 — but the continuation of the EV tax credit could play a role in how long they coexist.
