Update 2023 Zeekr 001 – 140 kWh battery offers range up to 1,000 km, 86 kWh RWD from RM193k in China
The Zeekr 001 electric scooter has been updated for the 2023 model year and is already on sale in China, China Automotive News report.

Previously offered with an 86 kWh or 100 kWh three-stage lithium battery, the Zeekr 001 offers a claimed cruising range of 546 km and 656 km in the CLTC test cycle, respectively, powering the lead version. The 001’s four-wheel drive, dual-motor engine produces 544 PS and 768 Nm of torque, allowing 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of over 200 km/h.
The single-engine, rear-wheel drive versions of the 001 have 272 PS and 384 Nm of torque, or half the output of the dual-engine AWD version. In this configuration, the 001 performs the 0-100 km/h acceleration benchmark in 6.9 seconds.
The new CATL CTP 3.0 Qilin battery used in the 140 kWh variant offers a volume utilization ratio of over 72% and an energy density of 255 Wh/kg. This provides 13% more power than a 4680-cell battery pack from the same system chemistry and pack size, according to China Automotive News.
Interior updates for the Zeekr 001 2023 include an 8.8-inch instrument display, a 14.7-inch central infotainment screen, and a 5.7-inch rear passenger display. , Nappa leather seats, etc.
