Volvo XC40 gets interesting hint about mid-cycle update

Scandinavian design is known for its sophistication and minimalism, but even by Nordic standards, Volvo XC40 The lineup has received the smallest changes. Volvo Germany uploaded the new one intersection a bit premature by its looks. At the front, a slightly reshaped bumper includes Volvo’s new Pixel headlights and some T-shaped fog light surrounds. The grille is still light. mixture and plug-in hybrids XC40 but the XC40 Recharge has the same sturdy glass as on the C40 Recharge.

We couldn’t see a difference anywhere other than save for the wheels; The updated XC40 Recharge sits on the 20-inch aero wheels that debuted on the C40 Recharge, while hybrid models receive a choice of new wheel designs. It looks like Volvo’s reworked exterior pacing, scrapping Inscription and R-Design (at least in UK and French markets still showing no-upgrade car) for the Essential, Core, Plus and Ultimate packages , the number of options depends on the vehicle model. Then, Light and Dark die-cut treatments add subtlety or gloss to the exterior. The battery-electric XC40 Recharge in the US gives you a choice of Plus and Ultimate.

Sage Green and Fjord Blue from C40 also appear on the XC40 Recharge paint palette. Inside, tailored wool joins the Microtech and leather trim options, and the high-zoom configuration can get an Orrefors gear selector. The Android-based operating system has also been moved to a 9-inch infotainment screen.

As Volvo has yet to finish launching this car in Europe, it’s likely we won’t see it until next year, perhaps a 2023 model. We expect it to be joined by XC60 with greater than the battery and extended all-electric driving range.
