Acura Integra Type S: Revealing the more luxurious Civic Type R
Honda’s premium brand Acura has revealed the flagship sports car of the recently revived Integra range.
The 2024 Acura Integra Type liftback feature a Turbocharged 2.0-liter VTEC 4-cylinder engine manufacture 239kW power at 6500 rpm and 420Nm of torque between 2600-4000rpm.

As with the standard Integra, there are adaptive dampers and MacPherson struts up front and a multi-link rear suspension.
A helical limited-slip differential is standard in the Type S, and there’s a 2mm thicker front stabilizer bar.
There’s a new high-flow exhaust system exclusive to the Type S, with the exhaust note “stirring” thanks to an active exhaust valve. In Sport+ mode, Acura promises to have a “display that stops bangs and bangs”.
Acura says every A-pillar front body cladding is unique to the Type S, with a larger grille and front air intakes and a new vented aluminum bonnet that is said to improve airflow. air up to 170%.
It’s 71mm wider than the regular Integra, with 89mm wider front and 48mm wider back.

Acura also offers a range of accessories to make it look even more special, including a carbon fiber rear spoiler and mirror caps, glowing grille badges, titanium gearshift levers and 19-inch alloy wheels. copper color.
Inside, the front sport seats have Ultrasuede lining and firmer support panels. Ultrasuede is also found on the gear lever, with colored stitching and a prominent Type S logo all over the front of the cabin.
A 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, and a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D audio system are all standard.
There are only two seats in the back.
The Type S comes in seven colors, including an exclusive finish called Tiger Eye Pearl. Red, black and orchid interiors are available.
The new Integra flagship joins the Type S versions of the TLX midsize sedan and MDX large crossover, both powered by turbocharged V6 engines.
Only the mid-size crossover RDX does not have a Type S variant.
