It’s good to be Joe Joyce right now. The Briton has been playing professionally since 2017, but last Saturday the undefeated heavyweight really put him in the spotlight with an impressive knockdown against the former player and contender. famous Joseph Parker. It was a slow, brutal, almost fist fight one would expect the bare hands of old to engage in, with each man taking his time hurling his punches. for maximum impact. Parker had his moments, but Joyce, who appeared to be made of some kind of iron, took the pictures before polishing his man in the eleventh minute.
“I had a great day watching boxing,” WBC and linear heavyweight champion Tyson Fury said on Wednesday Instagram parcel, added that he feels “Big Joe Joyce is the second best heavyweight in the world, behind me and on his day, given his timing, who knows if he can beat me or not?” The heavyweight king then declared, “I think we’ll have to find one these days.” However, it should be noted that Fury’s words are often seen as wasted salt (Remember, retiring?). “He’s not going to throw a punch at me for 12 rounds,” Fury also said of Joyce. “I don’t think he can hit me if he has a damn rice ball.”
However, Fury insists that pretty much everyone else at the top of the heavyweight division could have a hard time going against Joyce. “I think he beat Anthony Joshua,” Fury claimed earlier. “I think he beat the middleweight (actually Oleksandr Usyk), he might have a problem with Deontay Wilder’s speed and power.” It should be noted that fighters like Fury are not lawyers or politicians. Like everyone else, they are free to contradict themselves, especially in the heat of the moment. Not every word should be considered.
With that being said, Joyce responds to Fury’s Instagram videos in fine, competitive fashion. “Let’s Go, sign the contract, Big Boy!!!” he tweeted at Fury. “N.1 Vs N.2 for LINEAR!!!” Fury, as is his nature, is ready with a quick response. “It’s not a big moment for us, Joe,” he tweeted. “I have to get my first undisputed win against middleweight! You also have to build yourself up to adulthood! “For now, there’s still hope, though perhaps a slim one, that Fury will face former star Anthony Joshua in December.
