Climate activist group Just Stop Oil, which has been terrorizing British streets by sticking to the roads, is accused of having “blood on their hands” after two women died in a car crash after swerving. off a bridge that activists closed.

Two women, including mother of four Lisa Webberdied this week after traffic was diverted to the M20 motorway by activists from Just Stop Oil, which gained international attention last week after two members throw a can of tomato soup at the famous place Sunflower picture by Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh, hanging from the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, a major junction of the River Thames in London.

The accident happened when a BMW driver crossed the highway and crashed into other cars after trying to avoid a backup road caused by green protesters. Making matters worse, traffic jams caused by activists prevented ambulance convoys from reaching victims for 40 minutes.

Due to wet conditions, a woman lost control of her car, at which point Webber got out of the car and tried to assist the driver. Mark Heap, a builder who also tried to help the woman, was also injured when the BMW crashed into them, causing him to break his back and leg.

I have driven many times in London, and I remember that disruption and chaos even a blocked road can cause.

I doubt the climate protestors really care that their actions have resulted in death. Extinction Rebellion founder Roger Hallam tells us in 2021 he will block an ambulance, even if it results in someone’s death.

I support the right to protest. I would be appalled if someone tried to stop well-behaved climate protesters from waving banners while standing on the sidewalk. But these climate fanatics are fed up with being routinely ignored, and are behaving well beyond the limits of acceptable democracy protest, by deliberately disturbing the lives of others to draw attention to their purpose.

So how can this situation be improved? I think we can all learn a lot from France’s approach to climate protests. Quickly, effectively policing disruptive protests, while maintaining the highest standards of sensitivity, shows respect for their climate beliefs by not using solvents. Lipstick glue is derived from petroleum prior to removal.

France’s sensitive approach to controlling climate protests.
