The victims were sitting in their vehicles at a gas pump station around 9:35 p.m. when a blue Nissan Maxima sped up and an unspecified number of suspects fired multiple shots, Memphis Police said. said on Twitter.
Two girls aged 15 and 16 died. According to police, a 16-year-old girl and a 9-month-old boy were injured and not in a critical condition.
The gas station is located on Elvis Presley Avenue, just down the street from Graceland.
Memphis police said the vehicle suspected of being involved in the shooting has been recovered, but no arrests have been made.
The motive is unknown and the investigation is still ongoing, according to police.
