A Florida federal judge on Tuesday scheduled former President Donald Trump’s criminal trial on charges of illegally storing classified government documents to begin August 14.
But legal experts did not expect the trial to begin so soon, given the time it takes to resolve legal issues before the jury begins to hear testimony and present evidence.
