Travis Barker, the drummer of ’90s rock band Blink-182, is mourning the passing of his beloved dog Blue. Barker shares ownership of the French Bulldog with his 16-year-old daughter, Alabama Luella Barker, whom he has with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
The 46-year-old rocker shared a heartfelt tribute to Blue on his Instagram story, which includes photos of the dog throughout his life. An accompanying video shows Travis and Alabama stroking Blue in his final moments. To further show his devotion, Barker permanently inked the dog’s adorable face onto his left thigh.
Dedication to Blue
Barker captioned his Instagram story, “I will miss you Blue. You are the best dog. I’m always waiting for you to say something. Love you 4ever. “
Alabama took to TikTok, sharing a 32-second video clip showing Blue as a playful puppy until his last days.
“I love you, your mother loves you more than life can imagine, [you’re] will have the best life in heaven, until we meet my son again, I love you more then life is what it is. 💔. “
On her Instagram Story, Alabama wrote:
“You will never understand how much you helped me during my darkest days. You slept next to me, the way I threw your ball and you ran with excitement, or your eyes met everyone, I will never forget you my baby. I know you will have the best time in doggy heaven. Until we meet again my love”.

Travis Barker is no stranger to tattoos. In fact, he’s received a lot of criticism online from followers claiming that he’ll regret how much of an outcast when he’s older. Barker, who married Kourtney Kardashian in May, has always clapped her hands in response to haters and advocates of her body art. In response to a particularly cruel comment, he wrote:
“When I get older, I will probably hang out with other mean tattooed guys and look great overall. What do you do when you look like every other old person? “
His latest work is a beautiful commemorative tattoo of Blue’s face located on the inside of his left thigh. The portrait is done in two colors black and gray. Barker shared the entire process in an Instagram post, showing the artwork as a sketch, a pencil and finally, a finished work on skin.
Barker’s band Blink-182 announced last month that they will be embarking on a tour around Latin America, North America, Europe and Oceania in 2023. His wife, Kourtney Kardashian, plans to join the group. accompanied Barker on at least part of the tour’s performances.
