New York City, the slowest city in the United States, added one minute 10 seconds to an average six-mile drive time of 24 minutes 30 seconds. London is also the second most expensive place to drive a car, with owners paying $3,063 per 10,000 miles. It is only beaten by Hong Kong at $3,395 per 10,000 miles.
