Team Macadam Racing Yamaha has announced the squad for the 2023 British Supersport Championship Team Quattro, a new venture following the acquisition of assets and staff from four-time champion Appleyard Macadam in late 2022.
Macadam Racing will continue as a team supported by Yamaha UK, campaigning for the Yamaha YZF-R6 and having signed 2021 Junior Superstock Champion Jack Nixon alongside two-time Australian Supersport champion Tom Toparis.

“It’s an honor to play for this team. I’ve been playing against them for a few years now and they’ve always set the bar in the UK Supersport class. I’m also excited to get back to the Yamaha R6, which is a bike I’ve ridden a lot and know quite well. All the pieces are ready now and I’m looking forward to testing and working with Jack and the team.“
The Halifax-based team is now looking forward to a test in Spain ahead of the new season. They will also continue with Doug Macadam, longtime British Supersport athlete who has agreed to participate and continue to support the class.

“I am delighted to be a part of Macadam Yamaha Racing, a team with so much success and history, but also with a breath of fresh air when Dave takes over ownership of the team. With his passion and the experience of all the members currently on the team, I think we can have a really successful season – I want to thank all of them for their trust and for me. opportunity.“
