YouTube videos put viewers on the road
On the occasion of the long-awaited sequel to Top Gun, Swiss fighter expert Maverick MiGFlug took Roberto Chevalier on the flight of a lifetime. Roberto is the Italian voice of Tom Cruise and not only voiced Maverick 30 years ago, but also for his return to the screen in Italy.

Unlike actors, voice actors usually don’t get into the action on set… and in Roberto’s case – on a jet. But how can his voice take on the role of a fighter pilot with no real experience? That was solved with a flight available on YouTube.
Because the MiGFlug’s reason for existence is to realize everyone’s dream of flying a jet, Roberto was offered a (blow-up-) seat. Think of it as a method of acting in which an actor impersonates his character to encourage heartfelt performances…
Roberto made a dazzling 45-minute jet flight over the sensational landscape of the Swiss Alps. He did loops, rolls, and flies around the Matterhorn.
Roberto’s first flight resulted in a short documentary. The film is voiced by his voice and is about his dream of finally catching up with the sky. Ironically, this time it was his voice that held the ground as the whole experience left the actor speechless while in the air.
