California Thoroughbred Owners announced on February 28 the winners of the 2021 Statistical Award for Top California Owners. Reddam Racing is the leading owner in terms of total wallet earnings; Tommy Town Thoroughbreds lead all owners by California wins and most California starts; and Baoma Corp. is the leading owner for most California winnings.
Reddam Racing athletes raked in $2,479,544 in California last year, with 36 wins in 246 starts. Their 1st place winners include Los Alamitos Futurity (G2) winner Slow down Andy Winner Let It Ride Stakes Sellers in the group Grade 1 ranked Tonito’s and the winners have been ranked Awakening in Midnyte .
Tommy Town Thoroughbreds had 52 wins from 253 starts in California, with a total earnings of $1,461,335. Its winners include the winner of the California Derby Darkness lurks , Keeper Ofthe Stars , Stanford Bay , Her own kingdom , I’m yours and Not working .
Baoma has had an impressive eight wins in 2021. Their runner-up include Starlet Stakes (G1) and Desi winner Arnaz Stakes Eda ; Winner of Santa Ysabel Stakes (G3) and runner-up Santa Anita Oaks (G2) Nice gift ; Private mission winners of Zenyatta Stakes (G2) and Torrey Pines Stakes (G3); Qahira , winner of Kalookan Queen Stakes; and, Enbarr Capote Staking winners.
All winners will be recognized at TOC’s annual meetings at Del Mar August 13 and at Golden Gate Field October 22.
