Tips and tricks to enjoy Temtem to the fullest, out September 6 – PlayStation.Blog

Finally Temtem is coming out next month! Whether you are a first-time Tamer or an experienced adventurer, the world of Temtem is vast and has a lot to learn and master. Since we know the game like the back of our hand, we are here to provide some guidance to help you become the ultimate Temtem Tamer.

Learn the basics of combat and don’t expect to always win

Fighting in the Islands is challenging, so training a variety of Stamps is absolutely essential. Learning about Temtem types and their combinations is a must, and remember that combat has no RNG element, so only you, your Tems and your knowledge will help you win.

Just a few factors you need to watch out for in battle are the Status Condition in effect, the Gears the other Stamps carry, and whether you have enough Stamina to attack. Don’t be afraid to switch your Stamps in combat and check your Battle Log if you really want to be the Ultimate Trainer.

Enjoy the company

Playing Temtem solo is great, but did you know the entire Temtem campaign can be played in cooperative mode? Communicate with other players with chat and emojis, and use the Friends list to trade, check, follow… Cooperate with Hunters around you or check if Whether or not a Club has caught your eye — and whether you and your Club are up to the task, you can take control of a Dojo through lucrative Dojo battles. Did we mention Temtem crossplay? Play with anyone on any platform from the comfort of your PS5.

Explore the entire Islands

Venture off the beaten path. Many quests with exciting rewards and fun lore lie outside of the main story, and some Kudos – Temtem takes on achievements – will require you to visit all the locations. Once you reach Arbury, you’ll be able to unlock the Mount to make getting around much easier. Temtem is full of secrets and hidden easter eggs scattered all over the world, so keep an eye out while exploring.

Careful about Lumas

Lumas are the ultimate goal of many Tamers: sparkling, differently colored versions of Tems, with a minimum of three perfect stats. They’re also pretty rare, but there are some smart strategies to help:

You can get Radars in Tamer’s Paradise, the island at the end of the game. Radars give you 300 encounters with a species of Temtem, with bonuses for their SV and a chance of Luma as you progress. There is also a Saipark on Deniz Island where there will be two different Stamps each week with better stats or a Luma chance. You can also use the very valuable Luma spawn from any of your Lumas to create eggs with a better chance. Finally, if you can make it through the challenge, Lair in Tamer’s Paradise will let you get an egg from the Temtem of your choice with significantly increased Luma odds. Whichever approach you choose, remember that it’s all a matter of luck, so go for it.

Find a game style that works for you

If you decide to roam the world of Tamer vs. Tamer, Temtem offers a lot of options. You can play against your buddies in a friendly any time, or test the waters against other players on the ranked tier (doing ranked matches will show you how you play against the others). You can enter weekly tournaments to prove your mastery, and if you’re in a Club, the weekly Dojo Wars is where the best Clubs clash and prove their understanding. know about their competition.

Express yourself

Temtem offers tons of personalization possibilities so you can express yourself to your other players, including choosing your body type, walking animations, pronouns, and clothing options (most can be) dyed several times). Features great Sprays to show off your favorite Temtem or vibe, Temcard Seals ensure your Stamps go to battle in style, and Battle Outro animations make winning even sweeter. You might want to complete the House quest to get your very own house in Atoll Row where you can decorate the inside and out.

Try hard content

The end of the main story is just the beginning. A number of features await you, from challenging, repeatable activities like Dojo and Archtamers rematches, to Co-op-friendly endeavors like Mythical Lairs and Digital Lair. Tamer’s Paradise, the last island on the Archipelago, is home to several new modes that will test your skills and brains.

Temtem is leaving Early Access and officially launching on PS5 on September 6, and we hope to see you all there again. To our longtime supporters, thanks for everything; and to our new players, hello, welcome!
