A busker who says she was assaulted by a passer-by as she carried out on TikTok describes her livestream as like having a “private bodyguard”.
Mia Kirkland, 17, acquired 1000’s of messages of assist after she posted a video of a person approaching her in York metropolis centre.
She says the response helped her to really feel protected to return to busking and doing what she loves.
Mia and her household say she determined to not go to the police as a result of she needed to place the incident behind her.
