The Wumpa Fruit is calling and it’s almost time to open the gate. Experience a whole new way to Crash with the upcoming launch of Crash Team Rumble, which launches today, June 20 for PlayStation 4 and 5.

Developed by Toys for Bob, this all-new strategic multiplayer experience brings 4v4 platform action to the Crash universe, featuring eight crazy characters and nine wild arenas at launch. Your team’s goal? Collect and bank the most Wumpa fruits. Despite its strategic depth, picking and replaying is easy, making Crash Team Rumble a great title for longtime players in Crash as well as new players.

Scorers, Savers and Assists

In the pursuit of fruit, each character will use their own unique abilities in addition to fulfilling one of the three important roles of Scorer, Blocker or Supporter. Scorer excels at moving around the map to collect and deposit Wumpa in the bank, Battle Blocker to prevent opposing players from depositing Wumpa in their bank, and Relic Collection Supporter to activate The Relic Station turns the tides, specifically on the map, and takes over the Rune Board, providing a temporary multiplier to their team’s Wumpa deposit.

With eight characters available at launch plus more content to come post-launch, there are plenty of ways to approach each match. For now, let’s focus on our three characters: Catbat, N. Brio, and N. Tropy.

A speedy top scorer with unrivaled aerial mobility, Catbat is an all-new playable character in the Crash universe, equipped with a long-range dive attack and the ability to leap high. 5 times more than other characters, making it easy to approach difficult opponents. Reach areas on the map.

Catbat also supports teammates with the healing ability to keep them going through the toughest battles while easily luring and retreating through the use of their aerial moves — they even can stop in the air to wait for the most dangerous situations below.

N.Brio

A high-risk, high-reward powerhouse, N. Brio is a Blocker who controls the battlefield with summoned monsters. By throwing the pot on the ground, he can summon up to two slime monsters that attack enemy opponents. The monsters also make great jumping pads, allowing N. Brio to bounce off of them to increase his height considerably.

By drinking his potion, he can transform himself into a giant monster, smashing anything in his path for a short time. However, timing is crucial: N. Brio is vulnerable to enemies during transformation.

N. Tropy

A self-proclaimed master of time, N. Tropy is a ranged Blocker who sweeps the battlefield with large, slow-moving projectiles that can knock enemies out. Using her long attack range, she chases and harasses the enemy team from a safe distance.

When working in tandem with a powerful Melee Blocker like Dingodile, N. Tropy really comes into play on its own, delivering valuable ranged damage while her teammates take the hit. .

After launch expand the list and more

It is expected that the list of characters will expand with additional content post-launch, including two more characters that will appear after Season 1. Other post-launch content includes arenas, modes, and more. Levels, Powers, Limited Time Events, Custom Options, etc

Standard Edition vs. Premium Edition

Buy Crash Team Rumble for SRP $29.99 for Standard Edition and $39.99 SRP for Premium Edition. The Standard Edition includes the full game plus post-launch seasonal extras and limited-time modes, as well as the Battle Pass Premium Season 1*.
