The winner of this award is usually the highest drafted player in that position. Think things you like sauce maker, chasing childrenone of Bosa’s two troubles (nickname And Joey) or Marshon lattimore. So here are four players that I think you should consider winning the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
Will Anderson Jr.: + 350 (bet 10$ to win a total of 45$)
Anderson fits the mold of athletes who crossed to win this award in the previous 10 years. He was the top defensive player drafted and worked extremely well in college.
Anderson was the fastest passer of any man drafted in the first round, meaning his hand usage and understanding of play in his position were better than any of his peers. He will start fast in 2023 with Houston Texas and that hype will fuel the Defensive Rookie of the Year win.

Devon Witherspoon: +1100 (bet $10 to win a total of $120)
It’s no surprise Witherspoon was the first full-back to be drafted but what’s surprising is Eagle picked him in the fifth pick because most had Seattle settle the pass first.
However, Witherspoon is a great choice for DROY. He allows a completion rate of just 34.9% in 2022 using his long arms and nimble feet to break wide receivers. He is a corner kicker when facing opponents, leads to all clearances and can be intercepted in his standout plays.
Seattle is the winning team in 2023 that will give Witherspoon the necessary attention for this award.

Christian Gonzalez: +1100 (bet $10 to win a total of $120)
If Bill Belichick is sketching you with pick number 17 in the first round to play his corner New England Patriots defense, you must have special talent.
Gonzalez has rare physical and physical traits that can be used in Belichick’s defence. He may find himself on one more island than Witherspoon, allowing him some of the standout plays needed to win this award.
He needs to improve his playing skills, whether passing or intercepting, to stay ahead of the competition for this award, but I believe Belichick can bring out his full potential.
Tuli Tuipulotu: +8000 (bet $10 to win a total of $810)
This is my extremely long term bet on this prize. The outside full-back (final pick #54 in the second round) led the country in the number of dismissals last season at USC (13.5) and if he can continue that production for the league during his rookie season, he’ll win this award.
Tuipulotu will benefit from playing on a Los Angeles charger defend with Joey Bosa And Khalil Mack because he will find himself with a one-on-one chance during the match. If he could win these more often than not, he could get this prize.
Tuipulotu has the ability to add a lot of value to the team’s pass defense, something he did well at USC. At this price, he’s definitely worth the sprinkling.
