Are you close to order a Celebrity trip? You may want to pay for it with a American Express.
This month, select American Express cardholders can earn 35,000 Membership Rewards points for spending $1,000 or more on a Celebrity cruise.
That’s a considerable amount of Membership Rewards points. Current TPG Membership Rewards value at 2 cents per point, which means 35,000 bonus points will be worth $700 at our valuation.

In other words, if you spend $1,000 on a Celebrity sailing with an American Express card, you’ll get 70% of that back as Membership Rewards Points.
Note that this is a targeted offer, meaning that not all cardholders will receive it. Additionally, you must sign up for this particular Amex Offer deal in exchange for it.
You also need to act quickly. Offer expires on March 31st.
Other considerations include stipulation that cardholders can only apply for the offer with one American Express card. In addition, the offer is only valid when the cruise booking is made online, by calling 844-530-3783 or through a travel agent. Reservations must only be made on US websites.

The 35,000-point Celebrity offer is just one of at least two Celebrity-related offers that have popped up for American Express cardholders since January. Some American Express cardholders have also seen it a $175 cashback offer on spending $500 or more on a famous journey. That offer also expires on March 31.

To see if you qualify for the offer, check your American Express card account. If you see the deal, it’s best to add it immediately, as it may disappear. Some offers are capacity controlled.
Another tip: Only 100 Amex Coupons are displayed at a time. So if you have the ability, add offers to your card and new ones may appear.
Also, don’t forget that if you need to fly to or from your cruise port, Amex Tourism will give you 5 points per dollar on flights booked directly with airlines (up to $500,000 on these purchases per calendar year) and 5 points per dollar on prepaid hotels booked on Amex Travel.

If you are not an American Express cardholder, you may want to consider applying for one. Platinum card from American Express is offering a welcome bonus of 80,000 Membership Rewards points after you spend $6,000 on a purchase within the first six months of becoming a card member.
