The holiday season, heralded by Black Friday, is often a time to reminisce about the past. For example, I remember a time, a few years on either side of 2000 / Y2K / The Willenium, when really big bags were an issue. Especially if you’re a bit nu-metal or a bit goth. They are great. There’s nothing like walking down the street with a Gameboy smacking your knee. While the discount isn’t terribly impressive, US girlfriends can pick up one from Newegg for $50 off for $180.
What do you get for your money? G915 TKL Lightspeed Wireless is the smaller brother of Logitech G915 Lightspeed Wireless, a keyboard that Katharine claims is the “perfect wireless keyboard”. The big difference is that the G915 TKL Lightspeed Wireless lacks a button, bit TKL stands for “tenkeyless”. And no, to my perpetual chagrin, “trousers, a bit big.” It uses Logitech’s Lightspeed wireless technology, which means it has a teeny 1-millisecond response time to minimize lag.
Its smaller size, lighter weight, and 40-hour longer battery mean it’s much better than the standard model for using the keyboard on the go. Or for anyone with a really cluttered desk who needs every square inch of space. Ahem.
