When one usually thinks of “controversial” walking shoes, they think of the heel, but I’m here to throw a curved ball in the form of Jennifer Lawrence. Lawrence, a NYC resident, is regularly seen and strolled in the neighborhoods, just like any of her New Yorkers. And when it comes to footwear, she is quite pragmatic, often preferring sneakers and flats because Row.
In keeping with her theme, apartment that Lawrence has been wearing recently are, in fact, by The Row, and they’re called Ozzy Slippers. The slippers, which she photographed twice over the weekend, hug the foot tightly and show the toes, water shoe style. And while they don’t offer much support when walking with thin soles, they are certainly classy and I’m sure any minimalist would consider them a dream shoe.
