These airline and hotel programs offer free points when you sign up
Editor’s Note: This is a recurring post, regularly updated with new information and offers.
Whether you are just received a travel award or already have dozens of different accounts, chances are you haven’t joined every program available. If you play your hand correctly, you can score extra bonuses just by signing up (and sometimes completing your first qualifying activity).
They are separate from any welcome bonus you can earn with a co-brand Airlines or hotel credit card. Also, joining these programs is free.
However, not all new member bonuses are awarded as points. Recently, Alaska Airlines started offering travel credits for new members to subscribe to Mileage Plancan be done for free.
Below is an overview of all current bonus offers for new members, but check back often for updates.

Enrollment required.
