As with any job, you can get bored, even when you write about something as exciting as beauty. Especially if you wrote about it for several years. Although I was never too disillusioned with beauty, there was certainly a time when all lipstickmoisturizer and bronze chalk start to look alike and turn into each other. That said, there are products that stand out—whether it’s a brand new, never-before-seen product, or simply something that works so well that you have to tell everyone you know. These are the products that can instantly lift an aging beauty editor like me out of a daze.
