Ikelite announced its housing give Canon EOS R7one of the recently released RF mount camera bodies with cropped sensors—the other is EOS R10. The R7 features a 32.5MP APS-C sensor, continuous shooting at up to 15fps with the mechanical shutter (30fps with electronic shutter) and 4K/30p and 4K/video recording 60p 10 bits equals the full width of the sensor. It even offers in-body image stabilization.
Boasting an ultra-compact form factor, the Ikelite case for the EOS R7 uses the Dry Lock Micro (DLM) port system (as opposed to the DL), but otherwise the company’s tried-and-true features Supplied: ABS-PC body with transparent back; oversized joystick for shutter release and autofocus; and manually activate the strobe light via the Ikelite baffle. Of course, if you have one or two compatible Ikelite DS series wardrobes, you can add the option DL5 DS . Link TTL Converter for TTL strobe exposure—with the ability to conveniently switch between manual and TTL quickly.

We’re delighted with the level of performance Canon delivers in this compact form factor. No other camera maker comes close to the image quality or ergonomics of the R7 combined with this compact underwater case.
Released in 2022, the Canon EOS R7 features a 33-megapixel full-frame APS-C sensor, 4K video up to 60p (with crop), and up to 7-stops of in-body image stabilization. The R7 incorporates Canon’s advanced AF tracking system and is capable of continuous shooting at up to 30 frames per second (fps). Rated battery life of 660 shots per charge when using the camera’s rear LCD monitor is perfectly adequate for a full day of diving.
The 200DLM underwater case is designed for the most streamlined form factor possible and provides convenient access to all of the camera’s important functions at depths of up to 200 feet (60 meters). The 200DLM case is about half the size and weight of a case for a full frame camera like the Sony a7 IV or Canon EOS R5. The built-in Ikelite baffle and manual flash hotshoe allow for underwater strobes to be mounted out of the box along with expandability to TTL exposure with the optional DL5 DS Link TTL Adapter.
Add the optional Vacuum Kit with 1/2” valve to test the housing’s waterproof seals before entering the water.

Check before diving
There’s nothing more secure than being able to see your camera and o-ring through the back of the case. Our signature open-groove design hangs the rear o-ring in a natural position, making it easier to maintain and more reliable than tying the o-ring to the groove. When the case is closed, you can see the o-ring forming a sturdy, waterproof gasket.
We recommend adding the optional Vacuum Kit with 1/2″ Valve #47012 to vacuum the housing and check for leaks before entering the water.
Construct
Our specially formulated ABS-PC composite housing is highly durable yet significantly lighter than aluminum. Bright colors keep your camera cooler when shooting in warm sunny environments.
Lens support
Ikelite lens ports are the lightest on the market, yet sturdy and capable of withstanding rough ocean waves.
We support a wide range of lenses. Most popular zoom lenses and selective focus rings can be used using a simple gear wheel that puts adjustments at your fingertips. The zoom and focus gears vary depending on the type of lens you are using.

Wi-Fi transmission
Use the camera’s built-in Wi-Fi feature to download photos to another device without removing the camera from the case. The Wi-Fi feature is only available on water within close proximity of the connected device.

Unless otherwise noted, this case does not support the use of additional grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD caps, or other accessories.
Differences in lens and control positions prevent other camera models from being used or adapted to this case. We are not aware of any other models that could be used or adapted to this housing.
