The terror of Temple City will reign in Robert G. Dick


Pocket Aces Racing’s Terrorize the temple city topped $200,000 Robert G. Dick Memorial Stakes (G3T) on July 9 at Delaware Park. The 1/8 mile race for fill and mares attracted 10 schools.

In her most recent entry, Temple City’s 6-year-old daughter posted a 1/2-mile, $160,000 half-mile win in Keertana Overnight Stakes on Churchill Downs the field on May 28. In her only other outing this season, Brendan Walsh’s Kentucky stallion finished fifth in a 1/16-mile turf meal at Keeneland April 14.

Walsh said: “She came out of her race at Churchill Downs in good shape and her training has been solid, so we are pretty confident she will run a good race on Wednesday. Seven. “Considering her recent form and experience, this would be a really good spot for her.”

Last year, Temple City Terror won Keertana Stakes before finishing third in the Robert G. Dick Memorial. Next, she wraps up her 2021 campaign with the third of the 1/2-mile Glens Falls Stakes (G2T) campaign, valued at $250,000 at Saratoga. Walsh doesn’t look past this weekend.

“We’ll see how Saturday goes first,” he said. “The main thing is that she is playing well going into this race, and we hope she will run well. Maybe we can go one or two better than last year in this race. That’s it. what we’re thinking about now.”

Sister Otoole will take home a career record of two wins, four seconds and three thirds from 15 starts with $198,032 earnings into the race. In the most recent, Prince Amira’s 5-year-old daughter placed fourth in the 1.8-mile, $200,000 Sheepshead Bay (G2T) at Belmont Park May 7. Florida cross-breed dog 4th within 1 1/2 miles, $150,000 Orchid Stakes (G3T) at Gulfstream Park April 2.
