A woman named Bethany was greeted outside the door by a stray puppy she had never seen before. He was sneaky, so Bethany built a little cottage for him on the porch, where he seemed to feel safest. The puppy is certainly very shy with Bethany and her new surroundings.
A few nights later, Carter, Bethany’s son, was allowed to see the puppy. The two bonded together and this helped the dog, now named Ryder, come out of his shell a bit but he still wouldn’t come into the house. He still had walls erected to protect him. He must have had a pretty traumatic past.
The next day Ryder was taken to the vet, where the doctor determined he was 5 months old and without a microchip. Bethany didn’t want to adopt a dog but felt that it came to them for a reason. It’s official: Ryder has a new home.
Even though Ryder is now part of the family, he still doesn’t want to enter the house. He lingered in the doorway but refused to cross the threshold. Carter tries to convince him to come in, but Ryder refuses. Bethany had no choice but to carry him into the house. That’s when everything changes for the worthy puppy!
Ryder showed up at the right time on the right porch and it was a miracle to see. Congratulations to this beautiful family who are so honored that Ryder has chosen them!
