Rudy Giuliani is turning 80 and wants an electric razor, an iPad, a flat-screen TV and Cologne: Report

If you always follow the life and times of one Rudy Giuliani, you know that the former mayor’s life has become something that could be considered a joke. He owes creditors nearly $150 million. His radio show was canceled because he refused to stop airing discredited election claims. His license to practice law in New York and DC was suspended. One bankruptcy court judge called him a deadbeat. He has been criminally charged with trying to overturn the election in Georgia and Arizona — charges he denies — and in the latter state, prosecutors could soon issue a warrant for his arrest.

On the other hand, the little boy is about to have a big birthday and his friends seem to be finding ways to celebrate!

Page Six reports that Giuliani is turning 80 with birthday parties in both Manhattan, at Amata restaurant in Midtown and Palm Beach. (According to this source, the NYC party “was originally going to be held at the Empire Steakhouse, but was moved to Amata to accommodate additional guests or for financial reasons, depending on who you ask.”) And he want gift:

An Amazon gift registry submitted by friends and viewed by Page Six specifies which gifts should be sent to his Manhattan or Palm Beach address. A notice informs guests that gifts are not required, but if you want to give a gift, consult the Amazon registry.

The Amazon registry, titled “Rudolph Giuliani… 80th birthday party, May 28, 2024,” shows that gifts purchased for the former Trump adviser included—spoiler alert contents?—a home sleeper chair that converts into a bed…Braun electric razor, LED chandelier, a Shure Micro, “cooling” blanket, and iPad. If you’re looking to give Giuliani a gift, as of Thursday you can still score a ton of rugs—priced from $229.90 to $516.21—a document scanner, podcasting boom mic, Armani Acqua di Giò spritz and a flat screen TV worth $3,199.

Giuliani also, for unclear reasons, registered a “stain-blocking ceiling paint.” Those reasons, whatever they may be, are probably best left unsaid.
