The most beautiful cars are on sale now…and forever

What are the best cars on sale right now?

Style is subjective, so there’s no one right answer – but it’s definitely a topic that gets people talking.

Although new cars are being forced to comply with ever tighter regulations for pedestrian safety and emissions standards are placing a new focus on aerodynamics, there are a lot of variety in the look of new cars.

Need proof? Check auto expert Team selection below. As a bonus, we’ve rounded up our picks for the best-looking cars ever.

We hope you like our hero images. Rest assured that the BMW XM is not on this list.

Alborz Fallah: Maserati MC20 and W140 S-Class

The most beautiful car on sale today is the Maserati MC20. The naturally aspirated V8 – aka the V12 – would make it the absolute pinnacle of modern supercars.

As it stands, the exterior design of that car is pure bliss. The interior could do with some modernization but the MC20 both in coupe form and certainly in Cielo (convertible) format is my pick among the best looking cars currently on sale.

It would be easy and somewhat uncreative to choose Miura or F40 as the most beautiful car of all time. I’m a huge fan of the first generation Aston Martin Vantage from 2005, penned by Ian Callum and Henrik Fisker, two great car designers.

However, my all-time favorite shape has to be the Mercedes-Benz W140 S-Class.

The 1990s uber-sedan was the most balanced sedan of all time and iconic for its grandeur and simplicity. It is still as elegant and majestic today as it was when Saddam Hussein and Kim Jong-il sat in the back.

W140 was designed by Olivier Boulay, a French designer. He got to the top with the W140 because he was responsible for some of the great designs that followed, such as the Maybach 57 and 62 – which looked like a copy of the Ssangyong Chairman, itself a copy of his S-Class. !

He’s also responsible for the Mitsubishi 380, which if you look closely, it’s some like the W140… okay, if you really squint.

Scott Collie: Lexus LC500 and BMW E9 3.0 CSL

The Lexus LC500 is one of those cars that can be horrible, but is an absolute hit.

I’m not a fan of the modern obsession with giant grilles and overly complicated LED lighting components, but the LC500 is so confidently executed that it all works.

The stunning silhouette, with its classic long bonnet and short tailgate create the perfect basis for a completely unique, modern design. The details are also amazing, from the afterburner effect in the taillights to the dramatic way the side sills slide under the door.

As for the classics? BMW is on rocky design ground at the moment (very generously), but its rear catalog is chock full of stunning stuff.

Although the 508 Roadster is high on my list, the E9 3.0 CSL is possibly the most beautiful car ever made.

I know the full Batmobile looks pretty cool, but there’s also something very distinct about the lines with all the wings, scoops and flares removed as well.

Recently, BMW has tried to rekindle its spirit a few times, but nothing comes close to the original.

Jade Credentino: Ineos Grenadier and Land Rover Defender

For this I definitely have to pick the previous generation Land Rover Defender as the best ever and the Ineos Grenadier is my current pick.

There is some nostalgia when it comes to these designs; The Land Rover dates back to the 1940s, or until the last current model was revealed.

Both bring a sense of adventure from when I was a kid on road trips. Of course, the fact that we actually reached our destination meant that we didn’t bring the Guardian…

I can’t wait to get my hands on a Grenadier, I built it on the configurator (all options and all black, of course).

James Wong: Aston Martin DBS and Aston Martin Vanquish

One of the reasons I love Aston Martin is because of its beautiful designs.

In the current range, the DBS strikes me as a pretty perfect balance of menace as well as luxury, with the classic Aston Martin 2+2 ratio taking me back to the original Vanquish.

I’ve seen a few in the wild and you can’t help but stare in awe, and with the limitless customization options available, you can create every curve and crease in the bodywork and cabin. own.

Can I say it’s my all time favorite design? Maybe not. That title would go to the second-generation Aston Martin Vanquish, even if the original is truly my all-time favorite car.

The 2nd generation Vanquish still looks good to this day, about five years after the last one hit the production line. Its timeless aesthetic belongs in a museum, because it is pure art. Then there’s the V12 – ooft…

William Stopford: Audi e-tron GT and Aston Martin DB9

When I’m asked this question, my mind instinctively goes to Aston Martin, but to be honest, the brand’s current sports car lineup isn’t nearly as appealing as models like the old DB9. The Ferrari Roma gets closer to delivering that level of grace and luxury.

My pick would have to be the Audi e-tron GT, an answer that surprised me as I often find the brand’s styling stiflingly conservative. The electric four-door is simply gorgeous, although Audi would do well to mask those sensors up front.

For the most beautiful car of all time, the sheesh, that’s like asking a parent to choose their favorite child. I’ve watched this issue over and over again all week, and I feel as if I have to pick something up from the supposed 1960s heyday of automotive design.

The 1967 GM E-Bodies – Buick Riviera, Cadillac Eldorado and Oldsmobile Toronado – are all gorgeous, while my favorite Italian beauty has to be Iso Grifo penned by Giorgetto Giugario.

But I will go back to Aston Martin, specifically DB9, DBS and Virage.

They’re perfectly proportioned, the parts are evenly spaced elegantly and sporty without looking too pushy, and are more intuitively addressed than the DB7 and Vanquish that came before or whatever. was born afterwards.

Jack Quick: Mazda 3 and Holden Monaro CV8-Z

If I had to choose a new car that looks the best, I would have to choose the Mazda 3 hatchback. More specifically, I would choose G25 Astina with Soul Red Crystal Metallic paint.

I’m told the current Mazda 3 has been on the market for a few years now and it’s not necessarily as new as before, but its sleek yet aggressive exterior design still makes it stand out on the road.

I like how there are no large creases on the car’s exterior and a lot of curves instead. Its not really a bad angle in my opinion.

Now, choosing the best-looking car of all time is a little harder for me. I could go the novelty route and say I love how the Suzuki X-90 was ahead of the coupe SUV boom, but if I were to be honest, I’d have to pick the Holden Monaro CV8-Z.

There’s something about the Monaro CV8-Z that works for me. If I had to define it, it would be the Fusion exterior paint and the orange-black interior. I also have a poster of Monaro CV8-Z hanging on my bedroom wall as a kid.

Derek Fung: Lucid Air and Ferrari F355

The most beautiful car on sale right now is the Lucid Air. I’ve seen five of them in the past month or so, and they’re all gorgeous. The Air seems to be embracing the road, and the exterior has the right combination of strong and slim. Other than that, I enjoyed the wraparound rear windshield and the stainless steel faux roof.

Equally important, the interior fits the price. By today’s standards, there are screens everywhere, but instead of just a bunch of rectangular panels protruding from the dashboard, they’re integrated into the overall design of the cabin.

While I really wanted their Air, I also needed to feed the kids, and since society doesn’t approve of sending them to school in their pajamas, I threw my beauty-seeking pesos on a wagon Peugeot 508, preferably before renewal. model if there are still a few around. Realistic and beautiful, please.

Plus, the jet fighter-inspired interior is cool enough that I might forget that I’m actually my kid’s four-star Uber driver.

Stepping into the time machine, my favorite expensive pageant cars over the years have been the Lamborghini Miura and Ferrari F355. If being a daily driver was also a criterion, then I would jump into my Scrooge McDuck vault to earn enough money for a super rare Ferrari 456GT Venice wagon.

Again, assuming that I haven’t earned my unicorn yet and want those pesky kids to be fed, housed, and clothed, then my nice car pick would include the Peugeot 406 Coupe , Mazda 323 Astina V6 hatch and Eunos 500.

Anthony Crawford: Ferrari 296 GTB and too many to name

We are certainly in a strange moment when it comes to automotive design and the transition to electrification is underway. There isn’t much out there that you can call aesthetically pleasing and even less if you consider it beautiful other than a Ferrari 296 GTB, of course.

It is simply gorgeous in metal and is one of the most gorgeous cars ever to appear at the factory gates in Maranello. MC20 comes in second.

I also love what Cupra is doing on the more affordable front. The Cupra Born EV is a proper spinner.

If we’re looking for the most beautiful people of all time, it’s the three-way rivalry between the Aston Martin DB5 made famous in the Bond classic, Golden Fingersand the Mercedes-Benz W113 Pagoda SL and Jaguar E-Type.

All are stunning and represent the pinnacle of automotive design in terms of aesthetics and absolute desirability. I will also throw in the Ferrari 288 GTO.

Paul Maric: Ford Ranger Raptor and Ferrari F40

Since I was able to make it into the final set of these that we did, the best looking car on sale today is clearly the Ford Ranger Raptor (How fun – Ed).

The design fits the bill and it’s impossible to mistake it for anything else.

Going back in time though it’s hard to consider the Ferrari F40 as the most beautiful car ever made. It was another that looked exactly the way it did, and even today it’s a timeless design.
