The test run also gives Pretty Mischievous, the daughter of into naughty , more rest. She has started four times this year and has three wins and a second. In her final start, on June 9, she won Acorn Stakes (G1) at Belmont Park by an upper head Dorth Vader .
On the first Friday of May, she won the Kentucky Oaks (G1) at Churchill Downs equals at odds of 10-1.
“We wanted to give her a little more time from Acorn,” says Walsh. “She didn’t miss a beat all spring.”
Pretty Mischievous won six of eight career starts with second and third place. At the start of her second career, a stipend at Churchill Downs last October 30, she won at seven stretches.
Walsh said he’ll wait and see what happens in the Tests before seeing his next race, which may—or may not—be the $600,000 Alabama Stakes (G1) 1 1/4 mile on August 19.
“Our goal now is the Test.” Walsh said. “Let’s see how it goes.”

Lukas says that Robert and Stacy Mitchell, breeders and owners of the Vow of Secrets, want the path to Breeders’ Cup to include a Spinster Stock (G1) at Keeneland like the last race after Personal Ensign.
“They live in Louisville,” Lukas said. “The Spinster is like the Kentucky Derby to them. It’s the show they asked me to watch and it’s not bad.”
