The Kuro no Kiseki II Teaser Trailer further hints at the development of relationships

Nihon Falcom updated Official Japanese website because the Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II – Crimson Sin. It also published a teaser trailer for the sequel. The latter part of the trailer shows a similar intro cutscene to the first title, in which protagonist Van Arkride wakes up to a knock on his office door. However, the character relationships built into the prequel will bring some new changes.

Agnes Claudel, who arrived as a client in the first title, is currently working part-time as an assistant at the Spriggan Solutions Office – Arkride while continuing her education at school. Van thinks Agnès is visiting her, even though it’s not her working day. To Van’s surprise, the guest turned out to be Elaine AuclairGuild ace Calvard Bracer and childhood friend of Van who came to make an official claim.

Falcom has published new character artwork and screenshots for Kuro no Kiseki II. It teases more characters that will appear in the new title. One of them is Swin Abel who will return from Trail into Reverie. The company also shared official screenshots showing fishing and battle segments in the upcoming game.

On the same day, Dengeki Online held live which includes world premiere game footage of Kuro no Kiseki II. It shows how players can control Van, Agnès, and Elaine in battling wild monsters with action and command-based battles. Video runs at 60fps, with further confirmation of High Speed ​​Mode that speeds up gameplay.

Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II – Crimson Sin is a single-player story RPG that Nihon Falcom will release first in Japan for PlayStation 4 and 5 in the fall of 2022.
