The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls will close in 2023
Eleven years after debut, it’s time The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls bowed and left the stage. Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that on March 30, 2023, The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls service will end. The tweet did not mention any particular reason as to why. It will also include more details in the game.
There is also an announcement about the game of official website, with a longer message from the game’s maker, Yozo Sakagami. The message did not include any details as to why the game is down. However, it touches on Sakagami’s gratitude to all the makers who have been playing the game for over a decade.
In November 2011, Cinderella is the first mobile game in The Idolmaster Franchising. Sakagami said that at the time, he didn’t know how it would turn out and was prepared for the game to end in a few months. In truth, The Idolmaster: Pop Links discontinued service earlier this year after 1.5 years. However, Cinderella reached the 10-year milestone for the fans and the team.
With more than ten years of operation, Cinderella there are more than 190 idols and 90 of them have voices. There is also a cartoon seriesas live event and single people. Characters from the game have even appeared in other works, such as Granblue Fantasy.
The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls will discontinue service on March 30, 2023. Until then, the game is available on mobile devices.
