Noodle and Jonathan have become social media stars thanks to their “Bones” or “No Bones” videos, providing daily morning horoscopes to his thousands of followers on Instagram and TikTok. Noodle is considered a “puppy prophet”, determining whether today is good or bad based on his morning body language.
In their short clips, Jonathan will gently lift the handsome senior pug out of bed. If Noodles is still standing or even sitting, it is considered a promising “Bone Day”. If he falls back into his cozy bed, it’s “Boneless Day,” meaning viewers better watch out for trouble.
Jonathan joked that on some days, Noodle would wake up with no bones left on his wrinkled body. On those days, you have to take on as few responsibilities as possible or even crawl back into your bed. But on the days when Sweet Noodles wake up ready to tackle a new day (Bone day), you are said to experience a lot of luck, energy and productivity.
Noodle videos are posted every few days, with all creative content depending on how the 14-and-a-half year old boy feels. The sweet sunbae has recently faced many health threats and didn’t always feel ready to film.
Now, millions of people on the internet are mourning the passing of their puppy oracle and are deeply saddened to learn that there will be no new “Bone” or “Boneless” videos from their beloved friend. they are Noodles.
“And while this is incredibly sad, I would like to encourage you to congratulate him as we work through this sadness,” Jonathan said.
The noodle pug was rescued shortly after Jonathan was hired by BarkBox. At the time, he didn’t have a dog, but after an event someone came up to him and asked if he wanted to adopt a sweet 7-year-old Pug.
Then what started as a silly, introspective joke became a way of bringing joy to so many people. Thank you, Jonathan for consistently posting such positive, uplifting content and for sharing your sweet prince with all of us. You really gave Noodle an incredible life. We will miss him so much!
