Being away from our pets is NOT fun. Even when we have to go to work, which is often. Gosh, I know I miss my kids! The hardest part is when they miss us too.
They looked for us, sniffed our spot on the bed, lingered by the door. My dog stood up (he only weighs 15 pounds!) and stretched his whole body so he could look out the window. Even though he was uncomfortable, he didn’t care. He wanted to be the first to see me so he could let the family know I was home. Their LOVE is like no other!
Being away from Mom was torture for Stanley! So Dad decided to call Mom so their “son” could say “hi”. What happened next was absolutely ADORABLE! Mom just got the best gift of the day.
