Greta adopted Duncan after her dog suddenly passed away. Duncan desperately needed a home. He was placed in an animal control shelter in Chicago when his owner got involved in a melee.
Duncan’s mom explains in the video that he’s possibly the wackiest dog ever. He eats rain and snow after barking at the sky for allowing it to fall (and that’s the cutest thing to witness). He will get up and drink from the faucet or go eat bananas for the fountain but he hates bathing. And, my personal favorite, he hates his own tail! As his mother said, “He made it his enemy.”
Although Duncan is considered by others to be less intelligent, he is one of the smartest dogs Greta has ever met. When Greta’s 22-year-old cat died, she thought Duncan would be fine. But Duncan mourned his brother in the most cruel way. Duncan lay in the empty tub for hours and refused to come out.
Greta knew she had to do something. Duncan needs his mother’s help. What’s next in this amazing story is too heartwarming to miss! Duncan is proof that ALL shelter dogs deserve loving homes. Adopt, don’t shop. Notify!
